Croginal: A Fast and Fur-rious Five Months

The past five months at Croginal have been a whirlwind; a paradoxical blend of flashing by in an instant yet feeling like an epic journey. Through it all, the Croginal team has stayed laser-focused on our mission: creating a fun, engaging, and impactful space on the Cronos chain.

History

Not many people know that most of the Croginal team first met under less-than-ideal circumstances—rugged by another project. The saying, “shared suffering builds stronger communities,” couldn't ring truer for us. That experience fueled our resolve to create a project the right way: one where everyone has a fair chance to succeed. One where everyone eats!

At Croginal, we’ve cultivated a unique team dynamic. Each member has specific responsibilities and the creative freedom to explore ideas. However, when it comes to major decisions, we always put them to a vote. While we may have the occasional catfight (pun intended), we stay united by prioritizing what’s best for our community.

Goals

Croginal’s mission can be distilled into three core goals:

  • Web2 Education & Onboarding: Bridging the gap between Web2 and Web3, we use our pixelated cats to spark curiosity among those outside of crypto. From there, we provide the education and resources to help them explore the Cronos ecosystem.
  • Entertainment & Community: Building a strong and positive #Crofam community is at the heart of what we do. Whether it’s through engaging online events or shareable content, we aim to create a space where people connect and grow together.
  • Web3 & DeFi Innovation: Developing tools and products that add value to the $CRO ecosystem is essential to our vision. We're here to build and contribute meaningfully to Cronos.

What We’ve Achieved

In just five months, the Croginal team has accomplished more than we could have imagined:

Web3 Highlights:

  • Launched an NFT project that rewards holders with weekly $CRO distributions (WL on Crypto.com NFT).
  • Partnered with Wolfswap to launch a DEX and Vault platform.
  • Whitelisted on the Onchain Wallet.
  • Ranked in the top 10 on Dex Screener for November.

What’s next for Croginal?

We have exciting plans in store as we continue to build momentum:

  • DEX and Vault Development: Our DEX will remain a top priority to ensure a seamless trading experience for our community. Additionally, we're working to bring community Vaults online, enabling holders of partnered tokens to earn more.
  • Evolving Our NFT Collection: Our original NFT collection will continue to grow with the introduction of an achievement system, currently in the planning phase.
  • Expanding the Crogi-verse: Season 2 of our animation is on the brainstorming table, along with other exciting media projects.
  • New Physical Products: We're in the early stages of developing our next physical collectible, keeping our loyal collectors top of mind.
