How to Become Certified on MemesOnCronos?

Becoming a certified token on MemesOnCronos sets your project apart as a trusted, community-centered member of the Cronos ecosystem. Our certification program, led by the MOC (MemesOnCronos) verification token, ensures that certified tokens meet rigorous standards of security, transparency, and community engagement. Here’s a step-by-step guide to achieving MemesOnCronos certification.

Mandatory Requirement

Renounced Ownership: the token contract must have renounced ownership. This means no changes can be made to the contract after deployment, ensuring the project’s long-term security and stability for token holders.

Certification Steps & MOC Rewards

Each step in the certification process contributes MOC tokens towards achieving certification. The goal is to accumulate 15 MOC tokens for certification, with a maximum of 20 MOC tokens.

1. Be a Meme Token (+1 MOC)

MemesOnCronos encourages meme tokens. Projects focusing on community engagement through meme culture are rewarded.

2. Have an Adequate Liquidity (+1 MOC)

Ensure the token maintains sufficient liquidity (minimum $10,000) for fair trading and minimal price volatility.

3. Burn the Liquidity (+1 MOC)

The token must have burned liquidity to lock liquidity and help ensure price stability for holders.

4. Pass the Security Audit (+4 MOC)

The token must pass a comprehensive security audit with the following criteria:

  • Open-Source Code: The contract code must be publicly accessible.
  • No Proxy Contracts: No proxy contracts allowed, as they can enable hidden changes.
  • Non-Transferable Ownership: Ownership must be irrevocably renounced.
  • No Balance Control: The contract cannot allow owners to alter balances.
  • No Hidden Owners: No hidden post-renouncement owners.
  • No Self-Destruct Function: The contract cannot contain a self-destruct feature.
  • No External Dependencies: The token should not depend on external contracts.
  • Gas Efficiency: The contract must optimize for low gas fees.
  • Reasonable Tax Rates: Taxes should be under 10% to ensure fair trading.
  • Trading Accessibility: Tokens should be freely tradable without restrictions.
  • No Trading Cooldowns: No forced holding periods after trades.
  • No Anti-Whale Features: No restrictions on large holders.

5. No Mint Function (+1 MOC)

The token must have a fixed supply, without the ability to mint new tokens.

6. Submit a Blog Post (+1 MOC)

Submit a blog post outlining your token's purpose, vision, and unique attributes, including a high-quality image (1200x800px) to showcase your project’s dedication to transparency.

7. Send an Animated Banner (+1 MOC)

Submit an animated banner (728x90 GIF) for visibility on MemesOnCronos.

8. Create a MOC Developer Account (+1 MOC)

The project’s developer or founder can have a verified MemesOnCronos account to ensure transparency and accountability.

9. Display the MOC Branding (+1 MOC)

Display the MemesOnCronos logo on your project's website or page with a direct link back to MemesOnCronos.

10. Reach the Top 3 Leaderboard Placement (+1 MOC)

Encourage your community to vote for your token on MemesOnCronos. Ranking in the top 3 on the leaderboard will reward your project with 1 MOC, but this reward is given only once.

11. Be Whitelisted on Crypto.com | DeFi Wallet (+3 MOC)

Whitelisting on Crypto.com or DeFi Wallet earns 3 MOC, providing higher visibility and credibility.

12. Make a Donation (+4 MOC)

For every 2,500 CRO donated to the MemesOnCronos wallet (0x303A14a78b91E13ca190A39Ac929E2C294fdE158), your project will earn 1 MOC token, with a maximum of 4 MOC for donations totaling 10,000 CRO.

Achieving Certification

A project can earn up to 20 MOC tokens, but only 15 are necessary to become certified. Additional MOC tokens beyond 15 demonstrate ongoing commitment to transparency, security, and community involvement.

By meeting these criteria, your project can become a trusted, verified token within the MemesOnCronos ecosystem and gain higher visibility and engagement in the Cronos community.
