How to Become Certified on MemesOnCronos?

Becoming a certified token on MemesOnCronos sets your project apart as a trusted, community-centered member of the Cronos ecosystem. Our certification program, led by the MOC (MemesOnCronos) verification token, ensures that certified tokens meet rigorous standards of security, transparency, and community engagement. Here’s a step-by-step guide to achieving MemesOnCronos certification.

Certification Steps & MOC Rewards

Each step in the certification process contributes MOC tokens towards achieving certification. The goal is to accumulate a minimum of 80 MOC tokens for certification, with a maximum of 100 MOC tokens.

1. Be a Meme Token (+20 MOC)

MemesOnCronos encourages meme tokens. Projects focusing on community engagement through meme culture are rewarded.

2. Have an Adequate Liquidity (+5 MOC)

Ensure the token maintains sufficient liquidity for fair trading and minimal price volatility.

3. Lock the Liquidity (+5 MOC)

The token must have adequate locked liquidity and help ensure price stability for holders.

4. Pass the Security Audit (+25 MOC)

The token must pass a strict security audit with the following criteria:

  • Open Source Contract: The token’s contract must be publicly accessible.
  • No Owner: The contract should not have an active owner.
  • Ownership Cannot Be Retrieved: Once renounced, ownership cannot be reclaimed.
  • No Hidden Owner: There must be no hidden mechanisms to grant ownership post-renouncement.
  • Cannot Self-Destruct: The contract cannot have a function to destroy itself, ensuring long-term stability.
  • No Proxy in the Contract: The contract must not include proxies, which could allow hidden changes.
  • No External Call: The contract should not rely on external dependencies.
  • No Mint Function: The supply must be fixed, with no ability to mint additional tokens.
  • Token Is in DEX: The token must be tradable on a decentralized exchange (DEX).
  • Not a Gas Abuser: The contract must optimize gas usage for efficient transactions.
  • Token Can Be Bought: Users must be able to purchase the token without restrictions.
  • Holders Can Sell All Tokens: Token holders must be able to sell their entire holdings without limitation.
  • Buy Tax Under 5%: The buy tax must be less than 5%.
  • Sell Tax Under 5%: The sell tax must be less than 5%.
  • Taxes Cannot Be Modified: Tax rates must be immutable after deployment.
  • No Tax Changes for Personal Addresses: Taxes cannot be modified to target specific wallets.
  • No Trading Cooldown: The token must not enforce a holding period post-trade.
  • No Trading Suspension: Trading must always be enabled without the possibility of suspension.
  • Does Not Appear to Be a Honeypot: The token must not show characteristics of a honeypot (trapping users).
  • No Honeypot With Same Creator: The token creator must not have deployed other known honeypots.
  • No Anti-Whale: The contract must not limit large holders from trading.
  • Anti-Whale Rules Cannot Be Modified: If anti-whale rules exist, they must be immutable.
  • No Blacklist: The contract must not allow wallets to be blacklisted from trading.
  • No Whitelist: The contract must not rely on whitelists for trading.

5. Submit a Blog Post (+5 MOC)

Submit a blog post outlining your token's purpose, vision, and unique attributes, including a high-quality image (1200x800px) to showcase your project’s dedication to transparency.

6. Send an Animated Banner (+5 MOC)

Submit an animated banner (728x90 GIF) for visibility on MemesOnCronos.

7. Create a MOC Developer Account (+5 MOC)

The project’s developer or founder can have a verified MemesOnCronos account to ensure transparency and accountability.

8. Display the MOC Branding (+5 MOC)

Display the MemesOnCronos logo on your project's website or page with a direct link back to MemesOnCronos.

9. Reach the Top 3 Leaderboard Placement (+5 MOC)

Encourage your community to vote for your token on MemesOnCronos. Ranking in the top 3 on the leaderboard will reward your project with 5 MOC, but this reward is given only once.

10. Be Whitelisted on Crypto.com | DeFi Wallet (+15 MOC)

Whitelisting on Crypto.com or DeFi Wallet earns 3 MOC, providing higher visibility and credibility.

11. Make a Donation

If meme token (+5 MOC)

Donate any amount and earn 5 MOC tokens

If not a meme token (up to 25 MOC)

For every 2,500 CRO donated to the MemesOnCronos wallet (0x303A14a78b91E13ca190A39Ac929E2C294fdE158), your project will earn +5 MOC tokens, with a maximum of 25 MOC for donations totaling 12,500 CRO.

Achieving Certification

A project can earn up to 100 MOC tokens, but only 80 are necessary to become certified. Additional MOC tokens beyond 80 demonstrate ongoing commitment to transparency, security, and community involvement.
