The cats of Purr Town have suddenly disappeared! The Mew Sisters will go on an exciting journey to find their cat. We are a group of artists trying to build stories around Cats and CatGirls. We want to make the crypto market more diverse and rich by original memes and building a strong community.
Mew Sisters - Synopsis
Purr town is famous for its love of cats. What makes this town unique is that whenever people connect with a cat, cat ears magically appear on their heads. Among the townspeople, seven sisters known as the Mew Sisters were particularly renowned for their deep affection for felines.
One day, however, a mysterious incident occurred: all the cats in town suddenly vanished. The sisters found a note left behind and learned that the cats had left for Crypto Town. Determined to rescue their beloved feline friends, the Mew Sisters set out on an adventure to Crypto Town.
A meme project with a unique worldview
The Mew Sisters project isn't content with well-known meme characters. We're designing an original storyline and creating diverse characters within this unique world. By developing rich backstories, complex character relationships, and an evolving narrative, we aim to keep our holders consistently engaged and focused. To coincide with our project launch, we've introduced our first character, Bella. As the third of the seven Mew Sisters living in Purr Town, Bella is an aspiring model. She has a penchant for the color black and is known for her prickly and constant grumbling. However, beneath this tough exterior lies a warm-hearted girl with a deep affection for her family and cats.
We plan to sequentially release Mew Sisters characters with unique personalities and stories. Our goal is to create a captivating universe that goes beyond typical meme projects. We'll offer our community a rich and immersive experience that evolves over time.
Character building and securing original IP
As you can see in the Bella example above, our main focus is on character development. Our team of artists creates original characters with distinct personalities, unique appearances and backstories. These characters will become the cornerstone of the project's intellectual property (IP), opening up opportunities for a variety of creative expansions, including cartoons, animation, merchandising of Merch, and spin-off stories. I am very excited about the direction in which the project will develop in the future.
NFT Rewards
The MS team has begun rewarding supporters with an exclusive digital asset with both artistic and potential monetary value by giving away unique and collectible character NFTs to $MS token holders. In June 2024, when the project was launched, the Genesis NFT Collection for the character Bella was created, and 100 NFTs were distributed for free to about 60 holders who met the claim conditions (10 were sold at a fixed price and sold out in a few hours). . We present various missions every month and will distribute high-quality new NFTs created by CDC Curated artists for free to qualified holders.
Conclusion
We've talked about the current state of our project and the way forward. Securing IP through character development offers truly diverse possibilities. There is no rule that says meme coins have to stay in memes. We want a positive deviation, and if possible, we want to branch out into various mediums such as publishing, merch development, animation, and cartoons. We believe that these diverse creatives on Medium allow us to reach new audiences and tell more complex stories. Memes are a new form of art, a new possibility.
